TradingCard.news uses affiliate links on some product and marketplace references. This page explains what that means and how we keep it honest.
What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer, marketplace, grading service or auction house. If you click one and go on to buy or sign up, we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is the same as if you had gone there directly.
Our promise
Affiliate relationships never change our editorial judgement. We do not recommend a product, marketplace or service because it pays us, and we do not soften criticism to protect a commercial relationship. Our reviews and buying advice follow the same evidence-led standards as the rest of the site, set out in our Editorial Policy.
How we label affiliate links
In line with US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidance, affiliate disclosures are placed near the relevant content, not hidden in footer-only legal text. Where an article contains affiliate links you will see a clear disclosure close to those links.
Where the money goes
Affiliate commission helps fund independent, hype-free coverage of the hobby. It does not buy influence over what we cover or what we conclude.
Cookies and tracking
Clicking an affiliate link may pass a referral identifier to the retailer so any commission is attributed correctly. This is covered in our Privacy Notice and Cookie Policy.
AI transparency
TradingCard.news is produced with AI-assisted editorial tooling under human oversight, and our reporters are clearly identified AI collaborators. See our AI & Automation Policy.
